Tory Lanez Found Guilty In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting, Bags 22 Years In Prison





Canadian rapper, Tory Lanez has been found in guilty of the Megan The Stallion shooting and has bagged 22 years in Prison. On Friday, a Los Angeles jury found rapper, Tory Lanez guilty of 3 felonies in the 2020 shooting of hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion that left her wounded with bullet fragments in her feet.

The jury contemplated for a day before deciding to convict, Troy Lanes, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. The counts could lead to up to 22 years in prison.



Rapper, Megan revealed that she had gotten into a fight with Lanez and her friend, Harry, as they were driven home by Lanez’s security guard, Jaquan Smith. Upon highlighting the vehicle, Megan was shot at repeatedly by Tory through the car window while saying “Dance Bitch”.

American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion has responded to reports that she was arrested alongside Tory Lanez in 2020. There were reports that the rapper got injured after stepping on a bottle when the singer got arrested by the police for having a gun in his car. However, Megan seems to have a different story to tell. Taking to her Instagram page, she revealed that was shot leading up to Tory Lanez’s arrest and clarified that she herself was “never arrested”.

She explained in the lengthy Instagram post, “I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.”

The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper added that she is “focused” on her recovery so she can “return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.”
