Calabar South LG Chairman, Esther Bassey Is Dead

Honorable Esther Bassey, the Executive Chairman of Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, has passed on.

Mrs. Bassey is said to have died in the early hours of Friday 24th February 2023, less than 24 hours before the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The cause of her death is yet to be ascertained as of press time
