Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, McCalister Jay Khafezy shared; ‘I feel like Zambian Hip-Hop is mostly and commonly said to be only in vernacular that when you can make a hit song but am here to prove that either vernacular or English Hip-Hop is Hip-Hop and in this song, I declare myself as the Rap Stunnar (A combination of rap stars e.g Dizmo, Bobby East, Tiye P, Chef 187, Slapdee etc.’
