INTERVIEW: Rnb Sensation 'Elvis Adeniyi' Talks About Forthcoming EP 'Davido'

Rnb Sensation "Elvis Adeniyi" Talks about his forthcoming Extended Play Titled Davido. We picked some of your most asked questions and here are his answers below.


1. Why Davido the Ep?


Davido the Ep is dedicated to my greatest Artiste of all time "DAVIDO" On his birthday which is 21 November.


Davido the Ep is something I must do even If its not now so why wasting time? Davido has been my Idol for the past 7years and i studied him a lot. There was a time where I started thinking and knowing what Davido will do next and its happening.


2. What inspired the EP?


My Environment played a major role me, People around me, my team and my mother.
The name Davido is huge to me and I have been trying to meet him for the past three years now, that bros is never free lol, so I woke up one day and I said "Elvis" why not doing something no one has ever done, so I prayed to God and it became a story.


3. What is the concept behind this project?


The concept is very Direct and deep. We have to be very creative with this project so if you check the Track Art you will Notice I picked each letter from DAVIDO to form Davido the Ep which means from Track 1 to 6 spells Davido. Then we have 3 bonus tracks which also spells OBO.


4. Who is the woman on the track Art and why what was running through your mind?


Like I said earlier, the concept of the Ep is deep and everything on the art means a lot to me and professionally, I did what Davido will do if it was his personal Album. For example, the letters spells Davido, we have his mum on it, we have the song writers name on it, we have the producers name on it, we even included Sir Orlando Owo who inspired one of the songs. So everyone takes his credit, that's what typical Davido will do.


5. Don't you think it will spark Davido's Emotions negatively seeing his mother on your Artwork?


I Strongly doubt if it will spark any negativism from Davido. Like I told you earlier, he's a man I studied, Davido his Deeper than he looks. I am very confident.







6. Can you Elaborate Further On this Artwork?


Like I said earlier, the concept of the Ep is deep and everything on the art means a lot to me and professionally, I did what Davido will do if it was his personal Album. 7. Why do you love Davido so much?


I did not fall in love with davido, I grew in love with him. My love for Davido grows so I can't really explain how much I love that bros. Even you, Kel Cypha knows he's a good man.




8. Do you believe you will ever see Davido?


Yes I believe I will meet Davido, no doubt.


9.What happen next if you don't eventually see Davido, do you have plan B?


The plan B is I will continue same thing until he See me.. Which means I will try again.







10. Why three producers?


Wow I love this question.
Everyone knows southboy is my world best producer but not everyone knows Uno Fini and Davinci are the two other producers who fight up and down for me to improve, I have gone a long way with the three of them and my plan is to take them everywhere I go. It is called loyalty, that southboy of a guy is someone who knows my story in and out so this project will announce everyone by Gods grace. A typical Davido will do the same, am so sure.


11.Who is the project mentor?


Yemi castano is my project mentor, he's a leader and a big bro, at a point he stop picking my calls because I am not through with the songs and he will only talk to southboy about the progress of the EP. He keeps saying Elvis You're not serious, go and record and I will laugh and say Bros listen to this new Jam,
We all know the county is hard but this man sacrificed for me and I am really greatful. Kel cypha help me tell am thank you ooo hahahahah


12. who Created the whole Idea of Davido the EP


It was my idea, at first I told southboy inside talk then spoke with Yemi Castano inside his car before you know boooooom they helped me Develop it. Help me thank all my PSE family, they are real


13. How did you intend to finance the promotion of this project?


Before I go to the financing aspect let me say a big shutout to YBE, TUREX, TIMOTHY MUKAILA (Exalt Design) CURTIS ACE, TYNOTEZ, BEEMAN, DJFEMZY, COMEDIAN OLA D, DJ HYTEK, SHEGZ and TERRY THA RAPMAN for their immense contributions.


For now the only person financing this project is Mr Yemi castano, its not easy for him tho but hopefully we will see other good hearted individuals to support because we need a massive promotion if we want Davido to see it.. I am so positive about this project.
