His EP EL BAKER WAY tells a tale of growth and transparency as he takes you on a journey into the life of a hustler, creative and his love life, listen to the songs and testify.

Magnux has just put out one of the hit single “Getting Paid” from the EP.

Speaking about the single “Getting Paid”, Magnus the Baker said; I was inspired to write this song after my producer laced out the beat, I literally wanted to reflect my current day to day activities, how to stand firm in trials times, focusing on the goal despite no hand out from people you know, paying no mind to small talk, just being you and seeing the bigger picture, doing what you have to do, I was really happy after I delivered the chorus, verses to the outro.

We dey smoke That Mary J

We just steady getting paid

Verse: 1

I’ve been trapping like a G

Straight out the bando

All my homies never sleep

We burning candle

Now I’m whipping all these haters

Like I’m DJango

Gat to keep the circle small

Everybody can’t go

Me no be gangster o

But when I pull up with my goons

Them dey jakpa o

Every mallam with him kettle

Man ah Rasta o

But me no care bout these negative people

We not the same, we can never be equal

Sunday to Monday

We be getting money

Men I remember the time we didn’t had nothin

Them think say I go fail but baba God dey for me, ahh oh oh

Chorus:

Them be no like am

When I was rapping In the street

they criticise am

Now I pull up in a Beamer

Them dey fanz na

All my brothers getting paid

We dey smoke that Mary J

Every night Now

Hussle for the street

Then be no like am

Now I Pull up in a Beamer

Then dey fanz now

We dey Hussle everday

We dey smoke That Mary J

We just steady getting paid

Verse 2:

Light it up

Fire blazing

And me can’t cool

Steven wonder

Can’t see haters on my rear view

Gat my eyes on the money

I no send you

I’m just grateful that we made it

And I bam too

Another one

We gat another one

The work we put in

All these people no go understand

We do it big

But they want make I Dey underground

I know no o yea

Another day, another dollar

The street ain’t funny

Like a pimp I pop my collar

We steady rocking from one city to the other

Yea

We making money o

They waiting for me o

Them be no like am

When I was rapping In the street

Outro:

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence, talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful man with talent,

Genius will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb, education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts.
