Manchester United take decision on Anwar El Ghazi

Manchester United are not interested in signing former Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi.

On Monday, reports claimed Man United were looking at an emergency move for El Ghazi.

This comes after Jadon Sancho’s relationship with Man United manager Erik ten Hag broke down following a public spat before the international break.

Added to that, Antony is currently on a leave of absence after rape allegations against the Brazilian in his native country Brazil and there are doubts over Sancho’s future at Old Trafford.

Man United presently have Alejandro Garnacho and Fecundo Pellestri in the wings and both Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount can play on the flank.

However, as reported by Metro UK, Man United have rejected the chance to sign El Ghazi on an emergency short-term contract as Ten Hag is happy with his current options in the squad.

El Ghazi is currently a free agent after he left PSV Eindhoven at the end of last season.

The Dutch star was present at the Emirates for Man United’s 3-1 defeat against Arsenal before the international break.
