In an official release, candidates who selected the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, as their preferred academic institution during the 2023/2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), are hereby notified that the university’s online portal for admission registration will become operational on Tuesday, 29 August 2023. The registration process will terminate on Tuesday, 31 October 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Participation in the LAUTECH Post UTME Screening

Academic Requirements

For candidates to be considered eligible for the Post UTME screening, they must have obtained a minimum score of 180 in the 2023/2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). It should be noted that specific academic programmes at LAUTECH may necessitate a higher UTME score for admission. In light of this, prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to consult the LAUTECH Departmental Cut-Off Marks for accurate information regarding the same.

Additionally, candidates must have secured credits in a minimum of five relevant subjects in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations: SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB.

Special Requirements for Specific Programmes

For applicants interested in Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Anatomy, it is imperative to have credits in five relevant O’level subjects, obtained in a single sitting.

Age Requirements

Applicants must have attained the age of sixteen (16) by the time of admission to be considered for any programme within the university.

How to Apply for the LAUTECH Post UTME Form: A Step-by-Step Guide

Payment and Registration Procedure

Candidates should visit the LAUTECH admission portal, apply.lautech.edu.ng, and proceed with the payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00). Payment should be made using an Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM). The portal also provides comprehensive details on the available academic programmes as well as the entry requirements, which include O’Level, A’Level, and UTME subject combinations.

Submission of Online Application Forms

Applicants must accurately complete and submit their online application forms. This includes the uploading of a high-resolution, clear digital photograph with a white background. The photograph must be in JPEG format and not exceed 20kb in size.

Mandatory Requirement for Screening

All candidates are obliged to present a colour printout of the acknowledgement page at the screening venue. Failure to comply will result in non-admittance. It is also mandatory for applicants to provide active and valid email addresses and phone numbers for seamless communication.

Uploading O’ Level Results

Before admission can be formally granted, candidates must have uploaded their O’ Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Conditional Eligibility for Awaiting Results

Candidates awaiting their NABTEB, NECO, and WASC results are also qualified to apply. However, once the results are released, they must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS promptly.

Inconsistencies in Documentation

Any discrepancies in candidates’ names or state of origin across any documents may lead to disqualification.
