Prelude to the Milestone: The Convocation Lecture
The ceremonies commence with the Pre-Convocation Lecture scheduled for 4 pm at Mammam Kontagora Square, Main Campus, ABU Zaria on Friday, 26th January 2024. The lecture, aptly titled “This is your Time: Set Forth in Confidence and with Haste,” will be delivered by the distinguished Donald Duke, CON, former Governor of Cross River State.
The Main Event: Conferring of Degrees and Honours
The highlight of the convocation, the award of Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, and Honorary Degrees, will take place at the prestigious Mammam Kontagora Square, Main Campus, ABU Zaria on Saturday, 27th January 2024 at 10:00 am.
A Gathering of Distinguished Guests
ABU is honoured to host Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President of Nigeria, as the Special Guest of Honour. Joining the auspicious ceremony is Senator Uba Sani, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, serving as the Chief Host. The esteemed Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, the Emir of Zazzau, will grace the event as the Royal Father of the Day.
