AFIT Kaduna is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the 2023/2024 IJMB session. Applicants must have 5 SSCE credits including Maths and English and have passed IJMBE with at least 10 points. Admission is strictly on merit.
The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, is now accepting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the 2023/2024 academic session into its esteemed Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB). The program, designed to prepare students for university-level studies, is an intensive, year-long course aimed at fostering academic development and propelling future career growth.

AFIT Releases IJMB Admission Form for 2023/2024 Session
The IJMB admission form for the upcoming academic session has been officially released by AFIT. Interested candidates must meet certain academic prerequisites to be considered for admission into the program.
IJMB Entry Requirements
Candidates must possess at least five (5) credits in their Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), including credits in English Language, General Mathematics, and three other subjects relevant to their intended course of study.
Furthermore, to be considered for admission into AFIT, candidates must have previously sat for and passed the IJMBE with a minimum of 10 points.

Upon satisfying the necessary entry requirements, admitted students will embark on a one-year intensive program designed to prepare them for university education.
All registered students will be placed in one of six academic groups (IJMB 1 – IJMB 6), with the grouping being determined by the student’s intended career path and O-Level credits obtained.
However, it is important to note that NAF personnel are not eligible to apply for the IJMB programme.
