ASCOEA Announces 37th Matriculation Ceremony 2022/2023



Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA), has scheduled its 37th Matriculation Ceremony for NCE 100 Level students of the 2022/2023 academic session from 31st May to 2nd June 2023. The programme includes orientation lectures, gown collection, rehearsal, and the matriculation ceremony itself. To facilitate the smooth running of events, all other academic activities for 100 Level students and at the Chris Abut Garba Hall are temporarily suspended.




Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA), has unveiled the schedule for the 37th Matriculation Ceremony of its NCE 100 Level students for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Orientation and Matriculation Program

The Provost, on behalf of the college, has approved a series of events to mark the matriculation of new students. The programme, set to hold from Wednesday, 31st May to Friday 2nd June 2023, will comprise of orientation lectures and the matriculation ceremony itself.

All activities will take place at the Chris Abut Garba Hall, according to the following schedule:Orientation lectures are slated for 9:00 am on Wednesday, 31st May 2023.
Collection of gowns and rehearsal will occur on Thursday, 1st June 2023. Gowns will be available for collection from 9:00 am, with rehearsal later in the day at 4:00 pm.
The Matriculation Ceremony will take place at 8:00 am on Friday, 2nd June 2023.
Temporary Suspension of Activities

In order to allow for the smooth execution of the orientation and matriculation program, all lectures and other academic activities for 100 Level Students will be suspended for the days outlined above. Additionally, all activities at the Chris Abut Garba Hall are also temporarily suspended.

The college extends its warm welcome to all new students and looks forward to a successful matriculation ceremony. Staff, students, and the general public are encouraged to assist in making this event a success.
