AUST Postgraduate Admission Form 2023/2024


The African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja, invites applications for its 2023/2024 postgraduate programmes. Disciplines include Computing and Information Technology, Engineering, Administration, Business, Management Sciences, and Science Education. Entrance examinations are required for most programs. Application deadline is 3rd October 2023, and lectures start from 16th January 2024. Learning is blended, with face-to-face and online classes.

Admission Requirements: Qualifying for Excellence

The AUST has set forth certain criteria for candidates applying for its postgraduate programmes:
For all Master and Doctoral Programmes:Candidates should have a minimum of a Second Class upper in their first degrees.
Candidates will be required to sit for an entrance examination conducted online, except for public policy, public administration, and PhD candidates.
For all Postgraduate in Petroleum Engineering:Candidates should have a minimum of a Second Class Lower at their first degree in any Engineering program, Chemistry, Computer science, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics.
No common entrance examination will be conducted for these candidates.
