The decision to reschedule the Matriculation Ceremony came about due to unofficial information that the Muslim community would be celebrating their Id-el Fitri holiday on April 21, 2023, which coincided with the original date of the event. To accommodate the religious observance, the university decided to move the Matriculation Ceremony to the following day.
