Entry Requirements for Basic Midwifery Programme

The College has specific criteria that each applicant must meet to be considered for the Basic Midwifery Programme.
Academic Requirements

Applicants must possess five credits in WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings. The required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. It’s important to note that NABTEB results can only be combined with other NABTEB results.
Age Limit

The College also imposes an age limit on applicants. Interested candidates must be at least 17 years old by July 2023.
How to Apply for the Basic Midwifery Programme

Interested candidates should first navigate to the College’s website at www.ebsconsu.edu.ng/apply. After landing on the website, select ‘Midwifery’ from the options available (instead of ‘Nursing’).
Application Fee

The application process incurs a fee of N12,200. To make this payment, applicants should generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) on the website. The payment can then be completed either online or at any commercial bank using the RRR generated from the website.
Application Timeline

The College’s application portal will open on the 7th of June, 2023, and close on the 4th of August, 2023.
Examination Information

The College has provided detailed information regarding the examination process, which is an integral part of the application process.

The examination will take place on Saturday, the 5th of August, 2023. Importantly, the interview will be conducted the same day immediately after the examination. The examination will begin exactly at 10:00 am and will be in the format of a paper and pencil test.

The examination and subsequent interview will be held on the College premises at Uburu, in the Ohaozara L. G. A., Ebonyi State.
