The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Dutse (FUD) has announced an adjustment to the 2022/2023 academic calendar. Highlights of the changes include: 1st semester examinations from 24th July to 19th August, 2023; 1st semester break from 21st to 27th August, 2023; 2nd semester lectures from 28th August to 25th November, 2023; and 2nd semester examinations from 27th November to 23rd December, 2023.





In line with its commitment to academic excellence and the effective running of university programmes, Federal University Dutse (FUD), has announced a pivotal adjustment to its academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session. This announcement has been brought to light in order to keep students informed about the revision in the schedule, thereby allowing them to plan their academic activities accordingly.

Navigating the Adjusted Academic Calendar

The revised academic calendar outlines significant alterations to the university’s schedule. Here is a closer look at the major highlights of the newly adjusted calendar:1st Semester Examinations: The examinations for the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year have been scheduled to run from Monday, 24th July 2023 to Saturday, 19th August 2023. This four-week period will allow students ample time to prepare and sit for their exams.
First Semester Break: Following the conclusion of the first-semester exams, students will have a week-long break from Monday, 21st August 2023 to Sunday, 27th August 2023. This break provides an excellent opportunity for students to rest and rejuvenate before diving into the second semester.
2nd Semester Lectures: The lecture period for the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic session has been slated for Monday, 28th August 2023 to Saturday, 25th November 2023.
