Programme Choices

Applicants have the option to select two undergraduate programmes from the provided list divided into Groups A and B. Each candidate is required to choose only one programme from any of the two groups, ensuring the two choices do not belong to the same group. Note that the B. Tech programme spans five years, while the B.Sc programme lasts four years.

Programme Duration and Structure

The pre-degree programme spans six calendar months, including an intensive, compulsory three-month ICT training course. This format ensures students gain a comprehensive grounding in their chosen scientific field and a solid foundation in today’s indispensable ICT skills.
Admission Prerequisites

Prospective applicants need to fulfill the following criteria:Have five O’ Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB. The results should not be from more than two sittings and should include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Agric. Science. Optional subjects can be Economics, Geography, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, Business Studies, Government, Literature in English, Civic Education, History, Yoruba, and CRS/IRS.
Candidates with pending results or subject deficiencies are also eligible to apply, provided the results will be available before the programme’s conclusion.
How to Apply for LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission FormProspective applicants should visit apply.lautech.edu.ng and make a payment of ten thousand Naira (N10,000) for the Application Form using an Interswitch enabled Debit (ATM) Card.
Applicants must complete and submit the online Application Form diligently, as incomplete applications will not be considered
Key DatesClosing date for application submission is Friday, October 27, 2023.
Applicants must ensure to download and print the Registration Confirmation Slip with their passport photograph as proof of successful form submission.
The entrance examination for successful applicants is scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Entrance Examination

LAUTECH’s entrance examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT), with details regarding venue and time to be provided on successful applicants’ registration confirmation slips.
