Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) is excited to announce its 27th Convocation Ceremony, set to take place on Friday, May 12th and Saturday, May 13th, 2023. The University has scheduled various events to mark this important occasion, including a press briefing, a convocation lecture, and the awarding of certificates, diplomas, and honorary degrees to deserving individuals.

Wednesday, May 9th, 2023:
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur, will hold a press briefing on the Convocation ceremony.
Time: 10:00 am
Venue: Senate Chamber

Friday, May 12th, 2023:
Convocation Lecture
Topic: The University and the Public Goods: Pathway to Rediscovery
Lecturer: Professor Jibrin Ibrahim, Senior Fellow, Centre for Democracy and Development, Abuja
Time: 4:00 pm
Venue: University Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH)

Saturday, May 13th, 2023:
i. Award of Certificates, Diplomas, First and Higher Degree Certificates.
ii. Conferment of Honorary Degrees to four (4) Distinguished Nigerians:His Eminence, Alh. Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar CFR, the Sultan of Sokoto
Alh. Mohammed Indimi OR, Businessman and Philanthropist
Alh. Dahiru Bobbo OF, Educationist & Seasoned Administrator
