Accreditation Process and Support:

In a congratulatory letter addressed to NOUN’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Shehu Usman, expressed his gratitude for the support provided in achieving accreditation. The letter emphasized the essential role played by the university in renovating facilities, procuring laboratory equipment, and building the Environmental Village at Abuja’s model study center.
Maintaining Accreditation Status:

Prof. Shehu Usman assured the Vice-Chancellor that the Faculty of Health Sciences would continue to work diligently to maintain the full accreditation status of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences and Nursing Sciences. The event, titled “NOUN in the Nigeria Higher Education System: Impact, Achievements, and Next Steps,” featured prominent personalities such as Emeritus Prof. Olugbemiro Jegede, a former Vice-Chancellor of NOUN, and Prof. Vincent Ado Tenebe.
