Who Qualifies for FUTB’s Post UTME & Direct Entry Screening?
Eligibility Criteria:Basic Requirements:Candidates must have cleared a minimum of five pertinent subjects, inclusive of English Language and Mathematics, at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent. This should be achieved within a maximum of two sittings.
For Direct Entry Aspirants:Applicants should hold a minimum of Lower Credit in their National Diploma.
Additionally, they must have accrued 6 points in the IJMB Examination.
For UTME Candidates:Those aspiring to study at FUTB but didn’t select it as their premier choice of institution in the 2023 UTME, and have obtained a minimum score of 150, are advised to modify their selection to FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, BABURA via the JAMB portal. Step-by-Step Application Process for FUTB’s Screening:
Commencing from the 9th of October, 2023, eligible candidates can partake in the online registration, which will culminate at midnight on 4th February, 2024.
Navigate to
FUTB’s official portal.
Access the system using your UTME Number and respective score.
Refresh your contact information to produce a REMITA Payment.
An automated REMITA Retrieval Reference number (RRR) will be generated.
Direct Entry candidates should subsequently upload their SSCE and ‘A’ Level results.
Payments can be effected through any REMITA payment methods. Either select “Pay Now” for immediate payment or “Generate Payment Schedule” for comprehensive payment details. A fee of N2,000 (exclusive of REMITA charges) applies.
Post successful payment, you can revise your UTME details.
Incorporate a passport-sized photograph.
Detail your O’ level examinations, restricting to a maximum of two sittings.
Electronically upload copies of your O’ level and UTME results.
To conclude your application, generate and print/download your acknowledgment slip.
