Davido Speaks on His Nomination and Experience of the Grammy Award

Grammy-nominated artist, Davido has reacted to his nomination at the 66th Grammy Awards saying it is amazing witnessing and being a part of the awards Ceremony.

“It’s an amazing thing to witness and be a part of,” he said. “It’s been at a peak, reaching mainstream the past few years that I don’t think it’s ever been at before.”

On his goals and focus for the year, Davido said he wants to work more on new music, while staying positive.

“Working on more new music, doing more shows, and staying positive are my plans and goals for this year. I want to go for something that would transcend the ‘here and now’ fads. When people listen back to it 20 years later, I want it to hit them the same as people listening to it now.”

The 33-year-old Father of four secured three nominations at the Grammys with songs from his sixth album, ‘Timeless.’
