The University of Calabar (UNICAL) is accepting applications for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening. Candidates who chose UNICAL as their first choice and scored at least 140 in the 2024 JAMB UTME are eligible. Those who did not choose UNICAL but wish to apply must change their institution to UNICAL on the JAMB website. Registration runs from 23rd July to 20th August 2024. The University of Calabar (UNICAL) wants to let everyone know that the new deadline for UTME registration is now Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Students should use this extra time to finish any registration they haven't completed yet.

Also, the Post UTME test for the 2024/2025 academic session will take place from Monday, August 26, 2024, to Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Applicants need to visit https://myunical.edu.ng/post-utme starting on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, to reprint their slips with the updated schedule.

Eligibility for Application
Who Can Apply?First Choice Candidates: Candidates who selected the University of Calabar as their first choice in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME and scored a minimum of 140.
Change of Institution Candidates: Candidates who did not originally choose the University of Calabar but wish to change to UNICAL as their first choice and scored a minimum of 140 in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME. These candidates must complete a Change of Institution process via the JAMB website.

Method of Application
Steps to ApplyE-Transact Option:Visit any commercial bank nationwide to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN.
Log into the UNICAL portal, click on the UTME Admission Screening link, and follow the instructions.
Post UTME PIN Option:Purchase a Post-UTME pin directly from the UNICAL portal.
Use the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN to log into the portal.
Completing the ApplicationLog On: Go to the UNICAL portal, click on the UTME Admission Screening link.
Enter Details: Provide your JAMB Registration Number and the CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER or TRANSACTION ID.
Login and Follow Instructions: Complete the form, confirm your entries, and submit.
Print: Print out the completed form for your records.
Documents Required for the Online ApplicationDigital Passport-size Photograph: Ensure it is in JPG format.
