Admission Procedure
NBU welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. The following guide outlines the steps to apply for admission.
Step 1: Choose Your Programme
Before starting your application, explore the range of undergraduate programmes offered.
Step 2: Confirm Admission Procedures
Nigerian ApplicantsAt least five Ordinary Level credit passes at SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NABAIS) or equivalent in relevant subjects, in no more than two sittings.
An acceptable score in the UTME as specified by JAMB.
Foreign ApplicantsProvide corresponding examination results and academic transcripts from previous high schools.
Transfer and Direct Entry StudentsMust have completed one of the following: OND, NCE, HND, ‘A’ level GCE, JUPEB, IJMB, or any other higher qualification approved and recognised by JAMB.
Step 3: Check Admission Requirements
Ensure you meet the specific entry requirements for your chosen programme.
Step 4: Complete the Application Form
Fill out the online application form on the
NBU Admissions Portal. Ensure all information provided is accurate and up to date. Review your application before submission.
