Eligibility for GVU Post-UTME
UTME AdmissionApplicants must have taken the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Complete the online application form.
Five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, are needed at O’ Level/WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
Candidates awaiting results may apply.
Applicants must attend the GVU screening exercise.
Candidates not choosing GVU as first or second choice can apply by changing their choice through JAMB.
Direct Entry AdmissionPurchase and process the 2024 JAMB Direct Entry Form.
A merit pass in NCE, JUBEP, or credit in OND/HND is required.
Five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, are needed at O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
The IJMB, JUPEB, or A’ Level qualifications are accepted.
Other qualifications approved by the GVU Senate are accepted.
Conversion EntryMeet the minimum entry requirements of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.
Provide a recent university transcript.
Transfer EntryPurchase an application code and complete the Inter-University Transfer form online.
Pass the GVU interview/screening.
Meet the minimum entry requirements for admission.
Have a JAMB admission letter.
Ensure that academic records are sent to the GVU Admissions Office.
Maintain a C.G.P.A. of at least 1.5.
Application ProcessVisit the GVU Admission Portal.
Check the admission portal regularly for updates.
Instructions for Fresh StudentsClick on “FRESH STUDENTS”.
Log in with your Application Number and Password.
Pay the School Fee and Accommodation Fee.
