Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the IMSU Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:First Choice: Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri, as their first choice and scored at least 170 in the UTME.
Change of Institution: Candidates who did not initially choose IMSU but scored the required cut-off mark may apply if they change their institution of first choice to IMSU on the JAMB website.
Direct Entry: Candidates must hold OND/HND/First Degree, ‘A’ Level, or their equivalents in relevant disciplines.
Result Upload: Candidates must ensure their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB. Those awaiting ‘O’ Level results should upload them to JAMB as soon as they are available. Failure to upload results to JAMB will result in disqualification from admission consideration.
Application Procedure
To complete the application process, follow these steps:Visit the
IMSU website and click on the 2024/2025 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application link.
Enter your JAMB registration number to check for eligibility. If eligible, make the payment and fill out the form as instructed.
Enter your JAMB registration number as your invoice number, make a payment of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000), and print the receipt.
Return to the
IMSU website after 24 hours of completing the payment. Click on the 2024/2025 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application link again to complete the application form. Using the IMSU Microfinance Bank is recommended for easier access.
Present the acknowledgement slip at the screening venue on the date of the examination.
Direct Entry Candidates
In addition to the online application, Direct Entry candidates must ensure their OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level results, or their equivalents are forwarded to the Registrar, Imo State University, Owerri.
Aptitude Test
