General Admission Requirements
To qualify for any postgraduate programme, you must have:Five (5) O’ Level credits, including English Language, at Ordinary Level (GCE, WASC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB) for all courses.
Credit in Mathematics at Ordinary Level is required for Science, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Educational Management courses.
Available Programmes
A. LASU ConsultPostgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurial Studies (PGD)Requirements: A Professional Certificate, Higher National Diploma (HND), or First Degree (Minimum of Third Class) in a related discipline.
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Master of Entrepreneurial Studies (Full-Time and Part-Time)Requirements: B.Sc. Second Class Lower or HND with PGD in a related discipline.
Duration: Four (4) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Doctor of Entrepreneurial StudiesRequirements: Professional Master’s Degree/M.Sc. with a CGPA of 3.5 (3.0 may be accepted with make-up courses).
Duration: Three (3) Sessions (Full-Time and Part-Time).
B. Faculty of Management SciencesPostgraduate Diploma in Energy Enterprise System (PGD)Requirements: A degree or HND not lower than Lower Credit in a related field.
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Master of Energy Enterprise System (Full-Time and Part-Time)Requirements: A degree in relevant fields with at least Third Class, or a PGD in Energy-related courses.
Duration: Four (4) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
C. Faculty of LawM.Phil/Ph.D in LawRequirements: CGPA of at least 4.0 in LL.M from LASU or any approved university.
Duration: Minimum of Eight (8) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Ph.D in LawRequirements: CGPA of at least 4.0 in LL.M from LASU or any recognised university.
Duration: Minimum of Six (6) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
D. Food Security and SustainabilityPostgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Food Security and SustainabilityRequirements: Graduate from any recognised university.
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (Part-Time).
Master Degree (M.Sc) in Food Security and SustainabilityRequirements: Graduate with a background in Social Sciences, Science, Agricultural Science, or related disciplines.
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (Full-Time).
Professional Masters Degree in Food Security and Sustainability (MFSS)Requirements: Graduate with a background in Social Sciences, Sciences, Agricultural Science, or related disciplines.
Duration: Four (4) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
E. Water Resources Management and SustainabilityPostgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Water Resources Management & SustainabilityRequirements: Graduate of LASU or any recognised university.
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Master of Water Resources Management and Sustainability (M.Sc)Requirements: Graduate with a background in environmental studies, Social Sciences, Sciences, Agricultural Science, or related fields.
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Professional Master in Water Resources Management and SustainabilityRequirements: Graduate with a background in environmental studies, Social Sciences, Sciences, Agricultural Science, or related fields, with at least two years of relevant work experience.
Duration: Four (4) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
F. Centre for the Actualisation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (LASU-SDG)Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Sustainable Development & PoliciesRequirements: Graduate from any recognised university.
Duration: Three (3) Semesters (Part-Time).
Master Degree (M.Sc) in Sustainable Development and PoliciesRequirements: Graduate from any recognised university.
Duration: Four (4) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Professional Masters Degree in Sustainable Development and Policies (MSDP)Requirements: Graduate from any recognised university.
Duration: Four (4) Semesters (Full-Time and Part-Time).
Application ProcessApplicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of N30,300.00 online to LASU.
All applicants must sit for a qualifying Entrance Examination on the Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
Important DatesApplication forms will be available for six (6) weeks from the date of publication.
Submission of application forms should be completed online, and a copy of the e-Registration slip should be printed by the applicant.
Important NotesCandidates who have not completed NYSC or are currently enrolled in other Postgraduate Programmes should not apply.
All academic transcripts must be received within two weeks after the sale of forms ends.
Requests to transfer processed application forms from one department to another will not be accepted.
Candidates must attend the selection and written examinations in person; no make-up tests will be conducted.
