Key Information for Prospective Students
Eligibility
All candidates of Lagos State origin who selected LASUED as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 170 are eligible to participate in the indigeneship verification exercise.
Important DatesOnline Registration: Begins on Friday, 19th July 2024, and ends on Sunday, 18th August 2024.
Verification Interviews: These will take place over four weeks, starting from Monday, 29th July 2024, to Thursday, 22nd August 2024.

Method of Application
Candidates are required to make a payment to the Lagos State University of Education account online through this
LASUED Payment Portal.
General InformationEligibility: Only candidates of Lagos State origin are eligible for the screening. These candidates must be cleared by the LASUED Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (LIIVC) before being considered for admission.
Interview Venue: Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall of the University.
Revalidation for Previous Applicants: Applicants from the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions who have not been offered admission must revalidate their indigeneship clearance certificates at the same venue.
Direct Entry Applicants: All direct entry candidates of Lagos State origin must also participate in this verification exercise to be considered for admission.
