The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is now accepting Direct Entry applications for the 2024/2025 academic session. The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) direct entry screening form is now available for the 2024/2025 academic session. If you chose UNIPORT for Direct Entry Admission, you are invited to apply for the screening exercise by completing an online form on the University website.

Information Required for Registration

When registering, you will need to provide the following details:Name
Course
Qualifying Examination(s) for Direct Entry Admission
Results from Qualifying Examinations (O’Level, and A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB and Degree), including pass level and points
JAMB Registration Number

Registration Procedure
Dates: Wednesday, 24th July 2024 – Friday, 16th August 2024Visit the University Website: Go to the UNIPORT Direct Entry registration page to start the registration process.
Confirm JAMB Details: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and confirm your pre-loaded JAMB details.
Generate Remita Code or Print Payment Slip: Pay using your MasterCard, Visa, or Verve Card, or print the payment slip and pay at any bank with the Remita platform (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, and UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK). The fee is N2,000.00.
Obtain a Remita Receipt: This receipt should show an Access Code from the bank teller confirming the payment.
Login and Complete Form: Log in again with your JAMB Registration Number and the Access Code. Complete the form as requested.
Submit Required Documents: Submit photocopies of JAMB Slip, Birth Certificate/Age Declaration, O’Level Examination Results (WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB), A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB and Degree Results showing CGPA as applicable. These can be submitted in person at the Admissions Office or mailed by courier to:

Important Points to NoteInconsistency in Name: Ensure names on O’Level and A’Level results, JAMB slips, and other documents are the same. Inconsistencies may lead to disqualification.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 2024 to be eligible.
Registration Period: Apply within the registration period as the online link will be disabled at noon on Friday, 16th August 2024.

Online Registration: Registration is online. Candidates do not need to be physically present on campus.
O’Level Results: Ensure O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible. Those who do not will not be considered for admission.
