The registration for the Abia State University Post-UTME online screening has been extended from Friday, 20th September to Monday, 14th October 2024.

All concerned are advised to utilise this extension to complete their registration.

Candidates are required to upload their JAMB UTME scores and other relevant documents as previously instructed.

Who Is Eligible for the ABSU Post UTME?

If you chose Abia State University as your first or second choice in the UTME, or if you did not choose the university but now wish to, you are eligible to apply.

You must have scored 140 or above in the UTME to qualify.

You must also have the required five O’level credit passes as specified by the university’s entry requirements.

Direct Entry candidates are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply for the ABSU Post UTME

To begin the application process, log on to the ABSU portal to generate an invoice.

The next step is to make a payment of two thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) at any branch of the designated banks listed below:ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu

Zenith Bank Plc
Fidelity Bank Plc
Union Bank Plc
UBA Plc

Payment can also be made using bank debit cards.

After completing the payment, return to the ABSU portal and select the ABSU Aptitude Test.

Fill out the application form carefully, ensuring that all details are correct.

Upload a clear passport photograph to avoid rejection.

Once completed, download a copy of the form as proof of your registration.
Important Points to Remember

When applying, ensure that all details are accurately entered to prevent any issues later.

There is no need to upload a photograph or biometric capture as JAMB has already provided these.

If you do not register for the Post UTME screening, you will be ineligible for admission.

Certain candidates, such as foreign candidates, inmates of Correctional Centres, and those who are blind or deaf, are exempt from the screening exercise.
