Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship, you must meet these requirements:Be registered or accepted into a full-time doctoral program in the first or second year of study.
Your field of study must relate to the humanities, social sciences, or human sciences, and it should be relevant to Canada’s future.
Your doctoral work must address at least one of the Foundation’s four main themes:Human Rights and Dignity
Responsible Citizenship
Canada and the World
People and their Natural Environment
You must be a Canadian citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign institution, or a permanent resident or foreign national enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.
