Entry Requirements for ABU DAC Admission
1. Higher National Diploma (HND):Applicants must have a National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit in relevant agricultural programmes.
Evidence of one-year industrial training after the National Diploma is required.
Five credit passes in Mathematics, English, Chemistry/Physics, and Agricultural Science/Biology in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS.
Additional specific requirements apply to various courses:Agricultural Extension and Management: ND in Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Animal Health and Production Technology, Fisheries Technology, Horticultural Technology, or NCE in Agriculture.
Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Farm Power and Machinery): ND in Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology.
Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Soil and Water): Same as Farm Power and Machinery.
Pest Management Technology: ND in Agricultural Technology, Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology, or Science Laboratory Technology.
Animal Health: ND in Animal Health and Production Technology.

Candidates with a PASS in National Diploma will be considered for HND admission after 2 years of relevant work experience (for DAC graduates) and 3 years for graduates of other institutions.
2. National Diploma (ND):Admission is through JAMB.
Candidates must fill a green card to change their first choice to a DAC college if they originally chose another institution.
Candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal.
Five credit passes in English Language and Mathematics are required, along with other relevant O’Level subjects depending on the programme.Agricultural Technology: Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and one of Geography, Economics, or Physics.
Irrigation Agronomy: Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and one of Geography, Economics, or Physics.
Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology: Credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science, and one of Chemistry, Geography, Economics, or Further Mathematics.
Home and Rural Economics: Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science/Food and Nutrition/Home Management, and one of Geography, Economics, or Religious Knowledge.
Animal Health and Production Technology: Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and one of Geography, Economics, or Physics.

Method of Application for ABU DAC AdmissionCandidates for National Diploma (ND) can obtain the form online after paying N2,000 at any approved commercial bank.
HND and ND II Special forms are available after paying N2,500.
To apply, visit the DAC portal and follow these steps:Select the application form and create an account.
Generate the RRR Transaction ID.
Pay via Remita or at any online bank.

Sales of screening forms begin on 30th August 2024 and close on 31st December 2024.
