This opportunity is offered by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attract top foreign students to study at French institutions at both the master’s and doctoral levels.

Benefits of the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship

Recipients of the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship at the master’s level will receive a monthly allowance of €1,181.

This allowance is in addition to the direct payment for other services, including international and national transport, insurance, accommodation search, and cultural activities.

For those at the doctoral level, scholarship holders will receive €1,800 per month starting January 1, 2024, along with similar additional services.

It is important to note that tuition fees are not covered by this scholarship.
Eligibility for the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship

The France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship is open to foreign students in priority fields of study.

To apply, you must meet the following criteria:You must be of foreign nationality. French nationals or candidates with dual nationality, including French citizenship, are not eligible.
For the master’s level, candidates currently studying in France are not eligible.
For the doctoral level, candidates studying in France are eligible, but priority will be given to students applying from abroad.
You must be 27 years old or younger for master’s applications and 32 years old or younger for doctoral applications.
Application Process for the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship

The application process involves several steps:
Step 1:Contact the Espace Campus France in your country or the French embassy for guidance on your study plans.
Contact the International Relations department of a French institution to learn about their specific requirements and deadlines.
Choose a French institution that aligns with your study project.
Step 2:Once accepted by the institution, they will support your application for the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship.
The institution will then submit your application on the Campus France platform.

Keep in mind that applications submitted directly by students or foreign institutions will be considered ineligible.
