This event will also honour four prominent Nigerians with honorary doctorate degrees.

A total of 3,373 graduates will receive degrees during the ceremony, covering academic sessions from 2017/2018 to 2021/2022.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Zaiyan Umar, made these announcements during a press briefing with journalists.

The convocation holds a deep meaning for the Vice-Chancellor, as it marks ten years of academic activity at the university.

He shared that this celebration reflects the growth and progress of the institution over the past decade.

The university plans to recognise four individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their fields and supported the development of FUBK.

The honourees include former Kebbi State Governor Alhaji Saidu Usman Dakingari, Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi, founder of Oriental Energy Resources Ltd., Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of Zinox Group, and Ambassador Abubakar Sani (Makama Sokoto).

These figures have played a vital role in the growth of the university and its transformation over the years.

The Vice-Chancellor also expressed excitement about the 3,373 students who will graduate during this event.
