The Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) 2nd round Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening for the 2024/2025 academic session is now open.



This opportunity is for candidates who missed the first screening and are eager to apply.

The registration portal will be open from Saturday, 12th October, to Friday, 25th October, 2024.

Who is Eligible for the 2nd Round Post UTME?

To qualify for the UMYU 2nd round Post UTME, candidates must meet the following requirements:Select UMYU as First Choice
You must have chosen Umaru Musa Yar’adua University as your first choice institution during the UTME registration.
Meet the Minimum Cut-off Marks
You must meet the approved cut-off marks for your chosen programme. You can check the UMYU Cut-off Marks for 2024/2025.
Satisfy Admission Requirements
Ensure that you meet all other admission requirements for the course you applied for.

Direct Entry applicants who missed the first screening are also invited to apply.

However, candidates for the following programmes are not eligible for the screening:Law (LLB)
Medicine (MBBS)
Biochemistry
Biology
Computer Science
Microbiology
Education/Biology
Education/Computer Science
Environmental Management


Aptitude Test Date

The Aptitude Test is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 26th October, 2024.

Mode of Payment

Eligible candidates are required to pay N2,000 for the screening through the payment options provided on the university’s website.

Physically challenged candidates, recognised by JAMB, are exempt from the Post-UTME test but should submit hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office.

Go to the UMYU Post UTME Registration Portal to begin your registration.
Submit Required Documents
UTME candidates must submit copies of their Post-UTME registration slip, JAMB registration slip, and O’Level results at the test venue. Direct Entry candidates must submit copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office.
