This is an opportunity for students to apply for a transfer either within ABU’s faculties or from other universities.

The application period starts on Friday, 25th October, 2024, and will close on Sunday, 30th November, 2024.

Students interested in an Inter-Faculty Transfer should follow these steps:Access the ABU Portal.

Select Inter-Faculty Transfers on the dashboard.
Pay Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) through ATM card payment or print a transaction slip for payment at any commercial bank.

Complete the transfer form online.
Pay Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) using an ATM card or by printing a transaction slip for payment at any commercial bank.
Important Notes for Transfer Candidates

Here are key points to keep in mind for all transfer applicants:Transfer Eligibility: Candidates must have completed two consecutive sessions, while Direct Entry students must complete one full session.
CGPA Requirements: Inter-Faculty transfers require a minimum CGPA of 1.00, and Inter-University transfers require a CGPA of 2.40.
Eligible Levels: Transfers are allowed from 200-level and higher.
Program Limitations: Transfers are not permitted to the College of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Faculty of Law.
University Entry Requirements: Inter-University transfer applicants must meet ABU’s entry requirements.
Student Status: Students expelled or withdrawn from other universities are ineligible for transfer.
Departmental Capacity: Approval for transfer depends on the department’s capacity to accept additional students.
