The Gombe State University (GSU) has announced the start of online registration for the Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session.
This screening is for candidates applying for degree programmes at GSU.

Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the GSU Post UTME screening, candidates must:Choose GSU as the first choice on the JAMB portal.
Meet the required JAMB score for the chosen programme.
JAMB Score Requirements150 points: Sciences, Education, and Arts and Social Sciences
180 points: Nursing Science
170 points: Computer Science
200 points: Medicine, Pharmacy, and Law
Candidates with scores below 200 for Medicine and Pharmacy are encouraged to consider alternative courses like B.Sc. Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or Nursing.
Qualifications for Direct Entry
Direct Entry candidates must hold an NCE, JAMB, Advanced Level GCE, or Diploma in the same course they are applying for.
Screening Fee and Registration Process
The screening fee is ₦2,000, which is non-refundable and payable through the GSU online screening portal.
Candidates should visit the
GSU admission portal to register.
Steps for Online ScreeningEnter the JAMB registration number and select Get Details.
Pay the screening fee using ATM/Debit/Credit Card, Bank Transfer, USSD, or Visa QR.
Fill out the form to create a UTME/DE screening account and select Register.
View and confirm details, then select Generate Data Form.
A PDF file will be generated with two pages:Page 1: Candidate’s registration details
Page 2: Post-UTME Test (CBT) Exams Card
Print both pages and attach photocopies of all credentials to Page 1.
Bring these documents, along with the originals, on the day of the physical screening.
Screening dates will be provided during registration.
