Eligibility for the Programme

To apply for the HUST Remedial/Pre-Degree Programme, you need to meet certain criteria:You must have completed your secondary school education (SSCE, WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
A minimum of 3 credit passes is required in relevant subjects.
For Arts courses, you need a credit in English Language, while for Science and Social Science courses, both English and Mathematics credits are essential.

Candidates with deficiencies in any required subjects will be allowed to address those before applying for the 2025/2026 academic session.

You will also need to achieve a good score in the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME to secure a place in one of HUST’s undergraduate courses.
