This comprehensive schedule outlines the key activities and important dates for both new and returning students.
Lagos State University (LASU) Academic Calendar
First Semester ScheduleMonday, 18th November 2024 – Friday, 31st January 2025: Resumption, registration, and lectures for new and returning students (11 weeks).
Monday, 3rd February – Friday, 7th February 2025: Lectures continue with late registration, which includes a ₦5,000 penalty fee (1 week).
Monday, 10th February – Friday, 7th March 2025: Examinations for all students (4 weeks).
Monday, 10th March – Friday, 21st March 2025: Grading and uploading of results (2 weeks).
Monday, 24th March 2025: Departments and faculties review and upload corrections while ICT processes the results (1 week).
Monday, 31st March – Thursday, 3rd April 2025: Collation of results, Senate review, and final consideration of results (1 week).

This gives a total of 20 weeks for the first semester.
Second Semester ScheduleMonday, 21st April – Friday, 11th July 2025: Resumption, registration, and lectures for new and returning students (12 weeks).
Monday, 14th July – Friday, 8th August 2025: Examinations for all students (4 weeks).
Monday, 11th August – Friday, 22nd August 2025: Grading and uploading of results (2 weeks).
Monday, 25th August – Friday, 29th August 2025: Departments and faculties review and upload corrections while ICT processes the results (1 week).
Monday, 1st September – Friday, 5th September 2025: Collation of results, Senate review, and final consideration of results (1 week).
Monday, 8th September 2025: End of session break begins.
