This calendar provides a clear schedule for students and staff.

First Semester – 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 SessionsSunday, 24th November 2024 – Arrival of all returning students
Monday, 25th November 2024 – Registration begins for returning students

First Semester Lecture Period (25th November 2024 – 7th March 2025):Lectures for returning students begin on Monday, 25th November 2024
An extra-ordinary Senate meeting takes place on Wednesday, 27th November 2024 to consider prior session results
Fresh students arrive on Sunday, 1st December 2024
Pre-resumption registration for fresh students starts on Monday, 2nd December 2024
Lectures for fresh students begin on Monday, 9th December 2024
Christmas break is observed from Monday, 23rd December 2024 to Sunday, 5th January 2025
Fresh students’ orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, 21st January 2025
Payment of charges ends on Friday, 10th January 2025
Matriculation ceremony is set for Tuesday, 11th February 2025
Continuous assessment scores must be submitted by Friday, 21st February 2025
Lectures conclude on Friday, 7th March 2025

Examination and Break Period:Revision takes place from Monday, 10th March to Friday, 14th March 2025
First semester exams run from Monday, 17th March to Friday, 11th April 2025
A semester break follows from Monday, 14th April to Friday, 25th April 2025
The Senate meets on Wednesday, 14th May 2025 to review first semester results
Second Semester – 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 SessionsMay – October 2025 – Students engage in the Student Industrial Work Scheme (SIWES)
Sunday, 27th April 2025 – Students return for the second semester

Second Semester Lecture Period (28th April – 25th July 2025):Lectures start on Monday, 28th April 2025
Second instalment payment deadline is Friday, 30th May 2025
Registration for second instalment payments ends on Friday, 6th June 2025
Continuous assessment scores must be submitted by Friday, 25th July 2025
Lectures end on Friday, 25th July 2025

Examination and Break Period:Revision week runs from Monday, 28th July to Friday, 1st August 2025
Student Union Government (SUG) Week takes place from Monday, 4th to Saturday, 9th August 2025
Second semester exams are held from Monday, 11th August to Friday, 12th September 2025
All students go on a long vacation from Monday, 15th to Friday, 26th September 2025
The Senate convenes on Wednesday, 15th October 2025 to review second semester results
