For the Fall 2025 intake, 33 M.Sc. and 40 Ph.D. scholarship slots are available.

The scholarships focus on postgraduate studies in Science, Engineering, and related fields.
Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet specific conditions to qualify for the scholarships.Candidates must be researchers or instructors, or those likely to become researchers or instructors, in Science, Engineering, or related specialisations.
Applicants must hold African nationality, excluding Egypt.
The current residence of the applicant must be in an African country.
Candidates serving in the military are not eligible.
Applicants must meet all admission requirements and pass both an academic interview and oral examination.
Candidates are encouraged to return to their home universities or institutions after completing their studies.
Applications must be endorsed by the home institution to confirm the candidate’s return upon completing the programme.
